The Bible is like a big picture puzzle with 1000s of different pieces placed in different places which must be placed rightly to where they are supposed to be in order to get the right picture in the puzzle.
You don’t have to remove some pieces from the puzzle and be able to come up with a complete picture in the puzzle. In order for you to come up with the picture in the puzzle, then you must let each piece fit where it belongs or supposed to be.
Try removing Genesis from the whole Bible, if you will be able to see what went wrong between man and God (the cause of sin) and God’s plan of redemption.
So you have to study each portion of scripture with the light of the whole bible. You can’t isolate verses from the Scriptures and still expect to remain with the right meaning of the text in light of the whole bible, just like you would pick some pieces out of many pieces which form the big picture puzzle and expect to understand the picture in the puzzle. You must put the pieces where they belong in the puzzle so that you can be able to come up with the right picture.
You can not go isolating verses from their connection/ context and expect to come up with the right understanding and meaning of the scriptures.
